The following quick fix techniques can be used in helping to troubleshoot and fix common deployment problems.

 

Clear the TEM console cache and restart the console

Issue a blank action

Issue a Send Refresh to a client

Issue a "notify client forcerefresh" to a client

Restart TEM services

Restart endpoint computer

Re-install TEM components

 

Server Gather Problems

Clear console cache and restart console

Restart the Gather Service

Have the Gather service login as a user known to have proxy access to the Internet

Test gather using the airgap method and tool

Perform a gather state refresh (slash and burn)

 

Failed Actions

Stop tha failed action and take a new action

If failed download, try taking the action again with download

 

Failed Patch Install

Restart the client computer (Exit Code = 3010)

Try to manually install the patch file
